BCS/Synnex Partnership Announced
Synnex, one of IBM's top distributors, entered into a partnership with Butler Commerce Solutions (BCS)
to meet the demand of mid-size distribution companies for a competitive and powerful application.
With more companies moving operations outside U.S. borders, the global playing field is becoming more competitive
for domestic wholesale distributors. To meet the industry needs for an affordable ERP/wholesale distribution
solution, BCS developed an adaptive, scalable application that is available as stand alone components and as
a fully integrated solution.
"Our Java solution with virtual supply chains, multiple warehouses, and dynamic planning and forecasting
capabilities gives companies the capacity to maximize profitability while adapting to global and industry changes
and trends," stated David Patterson, Vice President of Butler Commerce Solutions. "Additionally,
ec21 delivers greater competitive value than any fully open Java application available on the market today."
Raleigh, North Carolina based Butler Commerce Solutions has been developing software specifically for the
wholesale distributor since 1985. Freedom Series/ec21, a functionally rich collaborative and fully integrated
real time inventory, warehouse distribution, and ERP application with web commerce, provides a single solution
that meets all wholesale distributors' operational needs.
"Butler Commerce Solutions is a terrific new member of our Synnex ISV Initiative," stated Bill Howatineck,
Synnex Business Development Executive. "The Freedom Series/ec21 software is an excellent solution for
distributors. Compared to industry averages, the annual maintenance cost of Freedom Series/ec21 is extremely
low."
